Jannie Keet's giant tillage radish (pictured above) is getting a lot of buzz from cover crop enthusiasts on social media. He planted it in the middle of spring (October) with a Piket fine seed no-till planter, in the South African province of North West.

"It's part of my pollinator mix around the fields," Keet tells Cover Crop Strategies. "It houses beneficial insects for pest control. I didn't apply any chemicals or inorganic fertilizers. It broke off at about a meter, but went much deeper into the soil."
