I'm in Yakima, Washington this week at FIRA USA where there's always lots of great ag technology on display. Why don't we go take a look at the newest edition of the Aigen robot. We'll hear from Kenny Lee, the CEO of Aigen.

“One of the highest pain point that we hear from growers is herbicide resistant weeds, and there aren't that many solutions to help them combat herbicide resistant weeds. So we came up with a solution where it's using mechanical hose, which is an arm and a blade at the end of it to using artificial intelligence to precisely target the weeds and avoid the crops and then uproot them from the grounds up in a very effective manner. We made several upgrades. A lot of the upgrades are internal that you don't see, one of which is we've actually upgraded the compute. And then secondly, we've added the ability to add a fourth arm. So rather than two or three arms, you're able to operate with four arms throughout the entire growing season without ever having to swap out batteries.”

Really innovative stuff, and that's just one piece of technology on display. We'll have a whole bunch more from the conference to share with you guys in the coming weeks.
