WinField United is delivering new tools with the launch of Oz, an AI-powered tool that helps make near-instant agronomic recommendations, and new updates to its BioVerified designation, a vetted list of biological products that meet a stringent set of criteria developed by WinField United research and agronomy teams.
“We put in the time and back-end work to solve real problems experienced by our retail owners and the growers they serve,” said Ryan Wolf, Director of Innovation Experience, R&D. “Oz offers speed and accessibility to decades of agronomic data, while our BioVerified designation continues to provide confidence in product performance, helping bring more clarity to crop protection decisions.”
From Data to Decisions in Seconds
For years, retailers have used the 800-page WinField United Crop Protection product guide to make personalized recommendations. Oz taps directly into this rigorously vetted resource to deliver technical product information for managing crops that address unique farm-level challenges.
It compiles label and product information to rapidly surface crop protection recommendations in seconds. By streamlining access to agronomic advice, Oz helps retail agronomists identify the best-fit solution to challenges throughout the growing season, enabling growers to control production costs and optimize yield potential.

Oz is currently designed to support crop protection decisions in corn and soybeans, including questions around herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and adjuvants. Specific questions get a rapid response; the more context that is provided, the more tailored the output will be. If contextual detail is missing, Oz will prompt follow-up questions to help refine the recommendation.
“As Oz continues to evolve and improve, its capabilities will expand to support more crops and recommendations retailers make every day,” said Wolf. “And as AI becomes a bigger part of agriculture, having a tool built specifically for retail that is grounded in agronomic data helps retailers keep pace with change while staying confident in the recommendations they make.”
Updates to a Trusted Biologicals Resource
In 2024, to address a lack of clarity around biological products, WinField United created its BioVerified designation as a vetting process designed to give ag retailers more confidence when navigating biological selections. It has been updated yearly since; and in 2026, three new products have been added to the list:
- Boosten biostimulant – A cutting-edge biostimulant that enhances plant resilience and vitality to help your crops thrive against yield-robbing environmental stressors.
- Neovo insecticide/nematicide – Liquid, in-furrow nematicide that utilizes a novel mode of action to help protect against corn rootworm, nematodes and other below-ground pests.
- N Stryke microbial soil amendment – A highly concentrated microbial package that helps enhance root growth while providing nutrient mineralization and recycling for the crop.
Each product included on the list has been tested across the extensive WinField United research network designed to assess performance, consistency and fit within real-world agronomic situations. The goal of every BioVerified update is to provide partners with up-to-date information heading into the season so they can make informed decisions.
“WinField United remains committed to advancing solutions like Oz and the BioVerified designation to help meet the evolving needs of the industry through ongoing investment in research, technology and agronomic expertise,” said Wolf. “By bringing together digital innovation and validated product insights, we continue to help retailers and growers navigate uncertainty, make informed decisions and protect yield potential when it matters most.”
