Iowa no-tiller and rancher Rick Matt thought his approach to soil health was advanced in the 1990s until one book changed his entire operation about 20 years later. 

“It has changed quite a bit of what we do here,” Matt says, who began no-tilling in 1993. “I thought I was progressive already, but this pushed me to the next level.”
