How Cover Crops Impact Soil Moisture During Droughts and Wet Periods

Agronomist Rob Myers will discuss the many different ways that cover crops impact the moisture content of the soil during both dry and wet periods. This will include a discussion of soil macropores and rainfall infiltration, residue and rooting changes, the role of the soil microbial community, and how organic matter and soil aggregation impact moisture storage.

 
 
THIS SESSION IS ELIGIBLE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS: To earn Certified Crop Adviser credits for this session, you must watch the entire session and complete the quiz here.To earn continuing education credits, you are required to watch the entire presentation.

After the event has concluded on March 16, you can still earn continuing education credits by filling out the "Missing CEU" form with ASA/SSSA and sending it in to them, but the credits will not be considered board certified.
