What is the National Cover Crop Summit?
The National Cover Crop Summit is free-to-attend, 2-day online event that will feature a series of knowledge-building presentations taught by the foremost authorities on cover crops today. Requiring no travel expense or time away from the office or farm, you will be able to participate from the comfort of your own office through a series of online presentation videos delivering practical tips and information on managing cover crops to improve soil health, protect the environment and enhance on-farm profitability.

What is the event schedule?
Unlike an in-person “live” event, there are no set time slots during which individual sessions will only be viewable. To allow you the opportunity to participate on your own schedule, all presentation videos will be posted online at 8 a.m. CDT on March 20, and remain accessible on-demand through March 21 at 6 p.m. CDT.

How will I access the presentations?
As an online event, you will be able to access the sessions from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. After you register, we'll send you an email with a link to access the National Cover Crop Summit presentations. To view the presentations, simply enter the provided website link into the web browser of your computer, smartphone, tablet or smart TV. The Summit ends at 6 p.m. CDT on March 21, at which time you will no longer be able to access the presentation videos. Keep an eye on your email inbox in the coming weeks, as we will send you an email to you with a link to replay the presentations when they are released. If you have any questions, or issues viewing a session(s) or accessing the Virtual Attendee Gift Bag materials, please contact our support team.

Will there be opportunities for Q&A with the presenters?
To enhance the interactive nature of this event, Cover Crop Strategies editors and select National Cover Crop Summit presenters will be available periodically during March 20-21, providing timely feedback to questions and comments submitted by attendees. Submit your questions or comments by using the commenting tool located below each presentation video. If you don't a see a response to your questions/comment, please check back as it may take some time for our editors and presenters to address all questions. Can I receive continuing education credits for attending the National Cover Crop Summit?
Yes! A total of 9 board-certified continuing education credits have been approved the American Society of Agronomy and Soil Science Society of America for the 2019 National Cover Crop Summit. Click here for a list of CEU-eligible sessions their tracking numbers.

To earn continuing education credit for a particular session, you must enter your CCA# and email address (the same one you used to register for the event) into the online form that will appear on-screen at the conclusion of the presentations that you watch. Enter your email address into the form field labeled "email address," and enter your CCA# into the form field labeled "name." To earn continuing education credits, you’re required to watch the entire presentation. After the event has concluded on March 21, 2019 at 6 p.m. CDT you can still earn continuing education credits by filling out the "Missing CEU" form with ASA/SSSA and sending it in to them, but the credits will not be considered board certified.
